The name change will help to distinguish our brand from several other companies and organizations using the NSM acronym. This is only a brand name change. Ownership of the company has not changed, and all warranties and obligations of NSM Audio are assumed by NSMT Loudspeakers. All payments will continue to be transacted under NSM Aud oled technology on mobile phone io which will remain the parent company of NSMT loudspeakers.

NSM is named after the first three children of the company's founder. With the addition of a fourth child there has always been discussion as to when it would be best to change the company's name. Our name change coincides with our shift  to manufacturing eco-friendly, "green," non-toxic, formaldehyde-free loudspeakers, and a shift from manufacturing mostly minimonitors and bookshelf loudspeakers to manufacturing mostly compact towers and architectural loudspeakers.

As we begin to mount a new advertising campaign for our formaldehyde-free loudspeakers, we thought this was the best time to make the name change. Indeed, we hope the the name change will coincide with the publication of the first two reviews of our new flagship, formaldehyde-free, 100M loudspeaker.

Alien Cactus Discovered in Roswell

 

SANTA FE, N.M. — High Country Gardens' research and development greenhouses are currently providing lodging for some very strange visitors from afar, if Chief Horticulturist David Salman's claim that the unidentified cactus species he recently unearthed from an uncharted meteor crater near Roswell, N.M. can be substantiated.      "I can't say for sure, but given that it seems to be associated with the meteor, it probably came from outside our solar system," Salman says in a recent video interview released this morning on High Country Gardens' YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZsITKPvhtYk    Salman says he was on a routine seed-collecting mission west of Roswell — the undisputed locus of extraterrestrial preoccupation since the late 1970s, when the alleged UFO crash of July 8, 1947 was brought to the world's attention — when he was drawn to the unmapped meteor crater by a "faint glow." Closer inspection revealed the light coming from a colony of small cacti yet unfamiliar to Salman, a renowned botanist with some three decades devoted to the horticultural industry.    "Really what, at this point, I'm most interested in is trying to reach out to other botanists or field plant explorers to see if they've come across similar populations elsewhere on the planet, because it's very possible that this meteor that hit near Roswell, perhaps it broke up in the atmosphere and other pieces maybe crashed in South America or Africa or Eurasia," he says.    An expert on cacti, Salman, who's been carefully observing the exotic species for a year now, still knows very little about them, a fact which further corroborates their otherworldly nature.    "It's very interesting to realize that they somehow resemble things here on Earth, but yet I'm not sure if  they derive nutrients from the soil. Are they carnivorous, do they eat insects or, exactly how do they get energy to metabolize?" he says. "But as I've been observing them there seems to be some parallel evolution between whatever this — what I suspect is an extraterrestrial source of these creatures — but yet they seem to resemble in some way cacti that are found here in the southwestern United States."    Salman wonders how the new species will be classified scientifically. The bankruptcy filing included TXEG's popular RowOne® furniture line.  "It took a lot of work to fix the problems with RowOne®   but we met with our former store owners, dealers, and AV advisors and made the corrections needed to the RowOne® furniture line.  We now have the furniture necessary to do Theater Xtreme's popular "home theater out of the box concept" with columns, risers, prosceniums, chairs, custom entertainment centers and RowOne® screens."

"Malaysia Telecommunications Report Q2 2011" now available at Fast Market Research

PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 27, 2011 – This quarter, we updated our Malaysia telecoms forecasts for mobile and ARPU, with the latest data provided by the country's three operators: Maxis Communications, Axiata-owned Celcom and Telenor's DiGi for the quarter ended September 2010. We have also been able to provide the latest data for the number of mobile broadband subscribers and which appears largely to be aiding postpaid growth in the sector, which is dominated by the prepaid sector.

A noteworthy industry development this quarter was the announcement of Malaysia's first network sharing agreement between Celcom and DiGi, which should help save operating costs. While a memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed in June 2010, the agreement has only become formal since January 2011. From 2012, the operators expect savings in the range of MYR100-200mn over the next few years and from 2015, savings of between MYR200-250mn. Celcom and DiGi will initially share 218 telecommunication sites each and will consolidate and upgrade more than 400 sites with a fibre transmission network by 2015.

Such agreements have been widely implemented in other regions and are particularly beneficial to operators who have prepaid dominated subscriber bases and therefore falling ARPUs, which prevents them from investing in the upgrade or development of their networks. As Malaysia's respective second and third operators, Celcom and DiGi should be able to leverage off this relationship and help tackle Maxis, which remains significantly ahead of the operators with a 41% market share.

In terms of developments in the broadband sector, while this is largely emerging from mobile broadband, of which there were an estimated 1.627mn subscribers as of September 2010 (up by 110% y-o-y) and as a result of the growing penetration of smartphone handsets, incumbent operator Telekom Malaysia is also keen to increase its UniFi subscriptions, which are based on its HSBB network. The operator is aggressively pursuing a greater number of UniFi subscribers, announcing in February 9th 2011, the promotion of a one-month free subscription and a waiver for the MYR200 installation fee, for customers who sign up online.

TM is taking proactive measures designed to acquire a greater number of retail subscribers ahead of competition in the fixed-broadband market with the arrival of Maxis, which currently only provides mobile broadband services. The operator had some 524,000 mobile broadband subscribers and noted that over the year, this had increased by 177%. By comparison, DiGi, Celcom and U Mobile noted y-o-y increases of 844%, 69% and 38%, respectively, with only Celcom reporting higher figures than Maxis on 803,000.
