PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 31, 2011 – The 2nd Annual Aircraft Repossession Summit will be held in Miami, FL on June 16, 2011. The Keynote Address will be given by the FBI Miami.
Panagiotis Panagopoulos, CEO and Founder of Aeropodium pointed out that "following the success of the conference in 2010, this event will explore the latest developments in the field or aircraft repossession and recovery. It will provide the platform for high level debate, exchange of ideas and information as well as extensive networking opportunities for aviation executives from the US and around the world."
The Summit will explore the themes of the practical considerations for a successful recovery, executing repossession and recovering an aircraft, case studies, repossession in regions of conflict, recovering an asset in a foreign jurisdiction, repossessing aircraft in Canada, airlines in default of lease contracts and the role of banks, managing aviation assets during repossession, technical records retrieval during repossession, the Role of MROs in aircraft repossession, airline defaults under leases and security agreements as well as insurance and risks during the repossession process.
This major event will be Chaired by Peter Bull, Group Director, Risk and Asset Management, Airclaims. The Keynote Address will be given by Special Agent Nelson Barbosa, InfraGard Program Coordinator, FBI Miami and Special Agent Kathleen Cymbaluk, Miami Office Recruiter, FBI Miami.
