The newest software expands beyond the original feature set allowing users to engage in a variety of drug resources and medication management.
PocketPharmacist provides a drug database of easy-to-understand drug information which has been created, developed, and summarized by a Pharmacist. PocketPharmacist differs from other drug information Apps, in that it offers clear and concise information versus sorting through volumes of drug data. As seen in prior versions of the App, PocketPharmacist still allows users to submit confidential, medication-related questions to be answered by a licensed Pharmacist. Each question costs a small fee ($2.99) and comes with one free follow-up question. Users are able to ask any type of medication related question, such as clarifications on drug interactions, adverse effects, and attempts to lower drug costs.
