INVESTORS WELCOMED TO EXCITING SUSTAINABLE AVIATION ALTERNATIVE FUELS "INVESTOR DAY" AT PARIS AIR SHOW Alternative Aviation Fuels Showcase presents the experts, the exhibitors and the answers in anticipation of global usage approval
Paris Air Show, LeBourget Paris—June, 2011—The global investment community will have the opportunity to investigate one of the world's most anticipated business op my photo and wallpaper portunities, biofuels used for commercial aviation.
The Alternative Aviation Fuels (AAF) Showcase, located in Hall 3 at the Paris Air Show, will present an Investors Day on Wednesday, June 23rd marking the opening of this exciting new investment sector as a result of anticipated ASTM International standards approval by July 8th.
In addition to 15 company exhibits (see full list at end of release), the AAF Showcase includes a presentation theater where stakeholders will conduct a series of product and capabilities presentations throughout the week. Presentations will be facilitated by representatives of the Air Transport Association (ATA), the Commercial Aviation Alternative Fuels Initiative (CAAFI), Air France, American Airlines, British Airways, Lufthansa, United Airlines and other organizations.
Another important aspect of the program is the outreach effort underway to attract aerospace and fuel sector investors to meet the participants and get first-hand information about opportunities opening up in the alternative aviation fuels industry. A number of investor-focused events are planned.
Potential investors and their agents, as well as the media, industry, government personnel and other key decision-makers and influencers will have the opportunity to learn the history, current and evolving developments and the long-term future of these innovations including:
• The technical approvals that will allow a broad variety of fuels from oil seed crops to be flown commercially • Debt funding programs available in the U.S., as well as plans to implement similar programs in Europe and around the globe opening the industry to a full range of international investors. • Worldwide fuel offtake agreements between participating airlines and fuel suppliers • Implementation follow-up for President Obama's March 30, 2011 directive to support commercial aviation through the initiation of fuel production programs The AAF Showcase brings together: • Representatives from 15 companies at the forefront of the industry developing and deploying aviation biofuels from Europe and the U.S.
