PRLog (Press Release) - Aug 16, 2011 - Pure TalkUSA, a provider of low cost wireless services with no contract, is open and operating as usual my photo and wallpaper after an incident involving cellular batteries sent 10 employees to the hospital around 2:30 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011.

We want to thank the Covington law enforcement officers for their quick and thorough response to the situation, as well as the medical professionals oled technology on mobile phone and staff at Newton General Hospital for ensuring the wellbeing of our team," said R.P. Pure TalkUSA takes safety very seriously and will be evaluating our safety and security procedures in light of the recent events."
After a thorough inspection by a hazardous material response team, the substance in question was determined to be a result of damaged batteries. Law enforcement deemed the situation isolated to the batteries in question, and the company's offices, warehouse, and inventory were ruled safe Friday afternoon. The medical staff at Newton General treated one employee for minor burns and released all 10 employees Friday afternoon as well.
Pure TalkUSA uses only refurbished, previously inspected batteries from qualified vendors based in the United States. Battery safety should be a priority for all mobile phone users. Anyone that comes in contact with a corroded battery should contact 911 or poison control.
