PRLog (Press Release) – Apr 13, 2011 – New York, NY – Finnair will reintroduce a direct summer route between Toronto and Helsinki with connections to over 50 destinations in Europe. Finnair will offer a scheduled flight between Toronto Pearson International Airport and Helsinki Airport five days a week from May 26 to September 11, 2011. Finnair's summer rates will start at 825 CAD. For passengers looking to travel to Europe, a stopover in Helsinki offers a fast and efficient connecting time. In Helsinki's compact terminal, designed especially for transfer traffic, Finnair operates one of the youngest fleets in Europe and offers several high-class lounges and a unique Finnair Spa. In 2009, Helsinki was appointed as the World Design Capital 2012.
Finnair will also open two new destinations including Murmansk in Northern Russia and Aarhuus in Denmark in cooperation with Sun-Air. Leisure flights to Malaga and Nice will change to my photo and wallpaper a scheduled service during the summer session. Direct services to other familiar summer destinations include Slovenia, Poland, Lisbon, and Pisa. Flights to Delhi start at 999 CAD. A direct service between Chicago and Helsinki will begin May 14, 2011, when oneworld partner American Airlines starts operating the new route.
