PRLog (Press Release) – May 20, 2011 – A new wireless SAW cryogenic temperature sensor chip comes enriching SENSeOR's product range.
It will be launched commercially at SENSOR+TEST in Nurnberg (Germany) next June from 7th to 9th.
Current available SAW sensors from SENSeOR measure wirelessly temperatures from -15°C to 165°C. This sensor chip covers cryogenic measurement range: from 77K to 320K (-196°C to 47°C). SAW (Surface Acoustic Wave) technology is the base for this sensor chip's unmatched features: small & light (5x5 mm ceramic package), non invasive, it can be embedded into materials or composites.
Referenced TSE F043, this cryogenic sensor chip is wireless, totally passive (no energy source at the sensor level, no energy harvesting) and requires no m oled technology on mobile phone aintenance. It is thus perfectly suited for m my photo and wallpaper easurement in inaccessible or confined places, on moving or rotating parts. It's also highly robust and withstands operation in harsh environments (corrosive, radiated, magnetic fields).
Delivered unmounted and uncalibrated, this chip can be customized by SENSeOR's experts to fit specific customer needs.
For instance, it will be adapted for condition monitoring, remote surveillance and alarm monitoring of quick-freezing equipment, cryogenic containers, gas liquefiers/compressors, vacuum ice makers. It can take part in a wireless sensor network for process control in food industry or in a chemical processes.
